I can also confirm on Intrepid 64bits with Microsoft Wireless Laser
Keyboard 5000. I've also tried disabling evdev and using the kbd driver
with no luck.

I suspect it's kernel-related. I can't see any keypresses from the
affected multimedia keys when running kbd_mode -s on the console.
