It seems to me that someone needs to sit down and merge the suggested packages here with the list from ubuntu-meta and then merge that into the existing gnome-accessibility package (and send that diff to Debian). gnome-accessibility would then need to be pulled into main, wherein ubuntu-meta could Recommend it and no longer Depend on the accessibility packages it does now. Thus, we'd install all the accessibility stuff by default, but if someone doesn't need it (or doesn't need all of it), they could easily remove it without having to remove the ubuntu-desktop package.
