Thank you for your help.
To make the situation clear : I have a few users on my system. I,
myself, use Polish as my user language but some other
user uses English. We both want SCIM support for inputting Japanese
characters.
Please tell me what way of thinking is right :

1. SCIM support works well only with the language that is chosen as the
default system language, which
means that only one of us (me or the other user) can have a working SCIM
support.

or the other one :

2. I have to choose Polish as the default system language, click apply
and afterwards switch it back to English (having "Complex Character
Support" switched on all the time). Then, SCIM will be
working both for users using Polish and English as their user language.

Either way, I think that a possible solution could be when just by
adding a language in the "Language Support", a corresponding locale
would be added in the /etc/scim/global file, for example in form
"/SupportedUnicodeLocales = en_US.UTF-8,pl_PL.UTF-8". But please correct
me if Im wrong.
