I had nvidia-glx-177 installed already yet was having this issue, so upgrading to it was not a relevant workaround for me.
That said, I just ran "sudo aptitude reinstall nvidia-glx-177" (after removing the packages broken by the failure of ia32-libs to install, flashplugin-nonfree and nspluginwrapper, beforehand) and my subsequent attempt to install ia32-libs went fine. It's not a fix, but it's easy enough of a workaround. -- package ia32-libs None [modified: /var/lib/dpkg/info/ia32-libs.list] failed to install/upgrade: unable to create `./usr/lib32/libGL.so.1.2': No such file or directory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/270327 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
