If the problem is in the kernel, a revition don't repare the problem? We need to upgrade the kernel of the 8.04 distro, now i'm using 2.6.24-21 generic is a new kernel avaible? i dont like to install 8.10, all is ok now (exept shutdown) but i like to upgrade the kernel, if its posible, if this fixed the problem... can i install the kernel thats come with the 8.10, with no install the 8.10? (to fix the shutdown problems only)
