Just happened for me today on kernel 2.6.27-8. But it was the first appearance of the bug for some time now. But the scheme is the same - high network load whilst downloading torrents. The difference was that this time the processor load was more noticeable then usual (today the system was 'chocking' while usually the load was high but it wasn't so straight forward).
