Hi, I'm using Gutsy and the same error is happening to me.
I guess there's a problem in repository.
if you pay attention, you'll notice that the file in the index is less
than 200Kb the downloaded file.
The download file has 6897850 bytes and the index tell us just
"6897650" bytes. (please, execute the command "$ apt-cache show hplip-
data" and you can observe that).
When will they to fix this problem?
