Foice, I assume that you use the default PPD file proposed by the
printer setup tool for all three printers (Foomatic/Postscript). I can
print duplex without any problems using this file on my HP LaserJet
3390.

Can you tell which documents you tried to print? Which applications?
Which files? Can you post the files?

Can you also try to get PPD files especially made for your printers? You
can find them on the Windows/Mac driver CDs and also on the
manufacturer's web sites. If you find such PPDs, please post them here
so that I can have a look into them.

Try also to set up your printer as a "Generic PCL 6/PCL XL printer" and
see whether you can print Duplex with PCL drivers?
