Hi, as I said, my cam is now working without any problems on some applications (like cheese), while some other applications which seems haven't applied the last patches for libv4l or likely needs a library preload (LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so). This second case is the case of VLC at the moment.
So the problem now with Intrepid is different from the one on the first post. It doesn't crash, but I need to preload the library manually to make it work as a V4L2 device.
