I can confirm what Ken says above. If I connect to a remote server while rhythmbox is running, and I have "Remote Computer Sound" set to play on the local computer the keyboard locks and I have to kill the rdesktop process to get it back. If I change "Remote Computer Sound" to do not play, and reconnect it works just fine.
