My computer is an Acer Aspire 5630 and webcam is also a Acer Orbicam Logitech Bus 005 Device 002: ID 046d:0896 Logitech, Inc. OrbiCam I have same problem, Cheess, amsn, camorama fail, and other software that use webcam don't work properly. I'm using ubuntu 8.10 64. On Ubuntu 8.04 it also works fine.
