Hello! My name is Elygia, my English is very bad as I'm from Russia, but
I will try to explain my problem. I have the same problem, dicussed
here. I have installed 2 times Ubuntu 8.10 x64 (Interpid Ibex) and 1
time Mediubuntu 8.10 x64, and each time I try to use compiz-fusion
desktop settings I get a dialog box asking to use another drivers for my
nVidia 7300 GT (PCI-E, 256 mb). After I reboot I get this text:
(EE) No devices detected.
Fatal server error:
no screens found
I will attach the log file, please let me know what should I do in this case,
as reinstalling did not help.
I use now Ubuntu 8.04 x86 but do not have such problems, please advice!
