Thanks for reporting this bug. However, this is not always correct. For
part of the year, Chicago is actually GMT - 5:00. On Sunday, November 2,
2008 at 2:00:00 AM, the clocks were set back one hour. This meant that
Chicago was GMT - 6:00 again. However, prior to that (since Sunday,
March 9, 2008 at 3:00:00 AM), Chicago had been GMT - 5:00. I see that
this bug report was created on October 10, 2008. At that point, Chicago
was still GMT - 5:00. Could you please try the live CD installer again?
I am unable to remember if it checks for DST when displaying the time
zones. Thanks again.
