I just had the same problem after upgrading to Intrepid Ibex, it was caused by not having the restricted repository in my sources.list and thus the necessary package not being installable. Adding the said repository corrected the problem.
In any case jockey should not fail silently if it cannot install a package (there was no error message, neither graphical or in the console).
