The wireless is built into the laptop, its a Realtek 8187B. The wireless does always work with Windows Vista, and had no problems with it until Ubuntu. Ubuntu also works perfect with it. I've tried what you asked and it contiunes to happen and Windows Vista still didnt detect it without me playing with the settings in the network manager. I know it isn't really a big deal, but i though you should know just in case someone has a problem with the same wireless card. Thanks :)
