Jay, It would probably be better if you would open a separate bug report
for now as Damian (the original bug reporter) has commented this is no
longer an issue with Intrepid so you may be experiencing a slightly
different bug that would require a different fix. Filing the bug by
running "ubuntu-bug -p linux" from within a Terminal will be sure to
collect general kernel debugging information -
