akareh, I had the same problem. I had to install the bluez-compat package to get hidd. "sudo apt-get install bluez-compat" should work. Hope this helps.
I have got my keyboard working now using hidd, and am happily typing this message with it. However, I don't know how to set it as trusted. I'm using 8.10 on the PS3, and as I understand it I need to set the board to trusted to have it connect automatically on startup. The guides I've seen have referenced 7.10, and instruct going back to the gnome bluetooth manager to do so, but I don't see my board listed there. I'm pretty green with Ubuntu, and have no mastery of the console, so any help is greatly appreciated. -- Logitech Bluetooth keyboards (Mediaboard & Di Novo) not working on Intrepid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292042 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
