I wasn't using Compiz. This comment (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=547734) on the Gnome Bug tracker seems to be the nearest to an explanation.
"I've found that scrolling over dead space in other programs (Nautilus and Evolution) also switches the desktop if Compiz is set to switch when the mouse wheel is used on the desktop. Banshee could "fix" this by eliminating dead space, but it seems like more of a Compiz issue." Except, instead of using Compiz I have the vanilla Xubuntu XFCE desktop which also switches desktops on a mouse scroll. -- banshee artwork changes virtual desktops https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235903 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
