+ Disk idle timeout settings (30sec) of Laptop-mode are not being respected,
disk spins down every 5sec

** Description changed:

  Ubuntu Intrepid,
  Sony VAIO FZ31M,

  Laptop-mode is enabled.
When I am on Battery, everything seems going well, disk starts to spin down
on idle.
in laptop-mode.conf i set idle time to 30sec, but this is being ignored.
- disk spins up every 5 - 10sec. It should not, as i am doing nthing.
+ disk spins DOWN every 5 - 10sec. But it should not.

  when i do $ sudo hdparm -S 12 /dev/sda
- nothing changes, disk wakes up like before every 5-10sec.
+ nothing changes, disk SPINS DOWN like before every 5-10sec.
i need power, and a green laptop.
  what can we do?
  thx
