Update: when connecting from a remote machine with the 3.3.0-3 client and RESUMING the previously started session, the crash does NOT occur, but the keyboard is broken :( Also the usual "setxkbmap -model evdev -layout de -variant nodeadkeys" fix does not work...really a strange problem!
