** Description changed: I have recently installed Gutsy on an AMD64 box. Some times when I log in, the cursor does not appear, so I have to switch to another tty and restart the machine. Also, if another user starts an xsession, and then I ctl+alt back to the original xsession, the cursor in often missing. Restarting X with CTL+ALT+backspace does not solve the problem, but a reboot does. This could suggest there is problem with the mouse being configured during boot process, but wouldn't explain the problem with switching betwen x sessions. uname -a= Linux aslan 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Tue Feb 12 02:46:46 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux I have attached my Xorg.conf and output from lspci. Please let me know whether I can help with anything else. Cheers, Chris. + + [lspci] + 00:00.0 RAM memory: nVidia Corporation C51 Host Bridge (rev a2) + 00:05.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation C51PV [GeForce 6150] (rev a2)
