OK. Sorry my poor english. When I downloaded OpenArena from official page y tried to play it, the frames were 1 or 2 per second. Idem for Newuiz game. It was not possible to play with these games. I have NVIDIA video card and the privative driver NVIDIA 173 was not possible to install. There was a few error-messages and the computer was freezen. I rebooted and tried to play the games but it was impossible to do this. When I rebooted the computer, the screen changed the size and all the font were very big.
The solution at this time, was to reinstall ubuntu 8.10 and all OK. I have now another problem with the DNS adress servers and I want to change the address of my mobil modem application DNS server (network management-Modem HUAWEI E226), to OpenDNS. I follow all directives, but when I reboot the computer, the DNS address were changed to previous ones. Can you (or who you indicate) help me? Tanks a lot.
