** Description changed: Binary package hint: nvidia-glx Using Gutsy on a Dell D620 with Nvidia Quadro NVS-110M, Compiz NOT enabled: Linux topino 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 23:05:12 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux First of all, using the "nv" driver resume works perfectly. When using either nvidia-glx or nvidia-glx-new, resume fails (blank screen, unresponsive PC) and it requires an hard reboot. By changing the value of POST_VIDEO=true to false in /etc/default/acpi-support, resume works, smoothly. + + [lspci] + 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/PM/GMS, 943/940GML and 945GT Express Memory Controller Hub [8086:27a0] (rev 03) + Subsystem: Dell Unknown device [1028:01c2] + 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: nVidia Corporation G72M [Quadro NVS 110M/GeForce Go 7300] [10de:01d7] (rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA]) + Subsystem: Dell Unknown device [1028:01c2]
