This is just an issue with OOo not anti-aliasing well, if you set zoom
to something high like 1000% you will see the entire image.

Upstream said this:

"Chris, the petal edges are there, just obscured by aliasing. Zooming in will
show them fully. Sadly, this is nothing I can fix for SVG import (but there's
work underway to have Draw/Impress use cairo)"
