Could you take a shot at describing the problem accurately?
How can you recreate the problem? (steps involved)
What do you expect should happen, and what actually happens?
Is there anything outside the laptop (With the network etc) that affects the
situation?
It is not clear from your description as to whether this is a
wpasupplicant problem, or a problem with the ipwxxxx driver etc - hence
the request.
