Thank you for including all the necesssary information. I'm setting the status to Confirmed.
I'm glad the ssh trick work, although I think the probability of damaging you hard disk with a power off is pretty small (I have to do it often when I check out a bug). A shorter command to reboot is simply `sudo reboot`. To get this fixed in future versions of ubuntu (Jaunty being the next coming up) it would be great if you have the possibility to test the lastest alpha and see if you can reproduce the issue there. You can download a CD image from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/9.04/ . If you cannot do this, it would be great if you could at least trest the latest video driver in the Intrepid environment. This is available from https://edge.launchpad.net/~intel-gfx-testing/+archive/ppa . ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- [i965] After leaving fullscreen, Intrepid draws only wallpaper, mouse cursor, and nothing more. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/316414 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
