Hello. I don't understand which source package does this bug belong to. I'm not sure that sound-recorder is the right choice.
Did you get this error while using gnome-sound-recorder, or just sound- recorder? Second, you marked this bug as confirmed, but as you can read here (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Status) another user must mark the bug as confirmed. Have you tried to plug an external microphone in your notebook?
