Chris - FYI OOoV3 has enough advantages for me to have loaded it onto my work Hardy as well as at home.
Now both machines are exhibiting instabilities - even without OOo running. They just hang or restart for no reason. Similar hardware - both running the same updates as they come out, so not independent problems. Can't get to grip with it so I'm reluctant to file a bug that might go nowhere. But the unofficial OOoV3 has to come off I'm afraid - at least for a while to establish whether it is implicated in the problem. All FYI only at the moment.
