Can you please re-test this against Jaunty? There have been several
fixes upstream to layout issues which may already cover this case. It
should be sufficient to test in a LiveCD environment if you do not wish
to upgrade at this time; ISO images are available at
http://cdimages.ubuntu.com/releases/jaunty. Thanks ahead of time!
