Dear Leann,

I am a new Linux user, so I don't know a lot of technical details.

When I boot the computer I have a choice to boot from the following:

- Ubuntub 8.10, kernel 2.6.27-9-generic
- Ubuntub 8.10, kernel 2.6.27-9-generic (recovery mode)
- Ubuntub 8.10, kernel 2.6.27-7-generic
- Ubuntub 8.10, kernel 2.6.27-7-generic (recovery mode)
- Windows XP

I have a problem booting from 2.6.27-9-generic (or at least I assume the
computer automatically boots from it).

I hope it helps.

Regards
