Just tried latest from Nvidia, 9631, as per Bug 74146. Still have the same crash after a few minutes of GLSlideshow. (Have set up XScreensaver to use chbg for photos, which doesn't have fancy transitions and doesn't crash.)

As soon as I turn this on my Edgy box will crash completely at a random time - blank screen and not able to SSH to it. If I leave this turned off then box is completely stable (i.e, >48 hours no crash).
