Okay, I tried it on Feisty, with compiz 0.3.4 as founf in synaptic. I followed the instructions in the "CompizOnFeisty" wiki page. Result: the problem is still there. As soon as I press the Conttol+Alt keys, the mouse pointer turns into a hand and grabs focus, so I don't get a chance to type the rest of the keyboard shortcut... grrr.... > Please make certain you are using Ubuntu's Xorg as well. Well, I would'nt even know how to use a different Xorg ;-)... I simply installed Feisty Herd 1, and updated it before installing Compiz... > We also require the make of your video card, to help debug driver issues. > If you are using a newer ATI card (x1000 series or newer), please indicate > > so. To get this information, please attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log I have already given these details in the bug report ;-) I use an ATI Radeon 9250, and the free "radeon" driver (I did try the proprietary 'fglrx' driver, but found that it was way too buggy/immature to be used for anything!) > As for testing, I have found that this bug might be taken care of > (ctrl-alt-arrowkeys) now appears to work. Sadly, no suck luck my end ! :-/ -- None of the keyboard commands work https://launchpad.net/bugs/68110 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
