Okay, I tried it on Feisty, with compiz 0.3.4 as founf in synaptic. I followed
the instructions in the "CompizOnFeisty" wiki page.
Result: the problem is still there. As soon as I press the Conttol+Alt keys,
the mouse pointer turns into a hand and grabs focus, so I don't get a chance to
type the rest of the keyboard shortcut... grrr....

Well, I would'nt even know how to use a different Xorg ;-)... I simply
installed Feisty Herd 1, and updated it before installing Compiz...

I have already given these details in the bug report ;-)
I use an ATI Radeon 9250, and the free "radeon" driver (I did try the
proprietary 'fglrx' driver, but found that it was way too buggy/immature to be
used for anything!)

Sadly, no suck luck my end ! :-/
