Hello. Thanks for filing a bug. At what stage do you get an error, on
boot, on starting the installer or at the partitioning step?
Could you please attach /var/log/syslog (and /var/log/partman if it is
at or after the prtitioning step) to this bug, by commenting on the
bug's web page? That would help us better identify the cause of the
problem. Thanks.
Further information:
Since this is a Live CD based installer you have likely lost the
original log files when you turned off or rebooted the machine. In that
case the only way to get the log files is to reproduced the install
procedure (with the crash) and upload the files directly from the Live
CD. Please let us know if you are able to do that at this stage.
To upload the files you need to run firefox from the Live CD session
where the installer crashed, visit this bug page and click on 'Add a
comment/attachment' at the bottom of the page. Click Browse and navigate
to the requested files in /var/log.
