I see, that's also happening for me. The processes seems to hang every time it tries to make a thumbnail for a font, also.
To expand on the bug, I can simply open up nautilus in a directory containing fonts and the process will hang and no thumbnail of a font will be displayed. Killing the process will show a thumbnail, but it will hang for the next font. To reproduce: Start nautilus and browse to /usr/share/fonts Expected Behavior: Show thumbnail previews of fonts Actual Behavior: gnome-thumbnail-font hangs with %50 CPU usage and no thumbnails are displayed Its still occurring in directories containing no fonts also. -- gnome-thumbnail-font high cpu usage https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/328632 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
