thats not mandatory. and we can ignore that request and focus on the
other issues mentioned.

yes, but since we are removing files under nonfree license we can use
+dfsg.

dont copy the full GPL in copyright. I think we should include the (c)
.... <email> ... part from the LICENSE file and also give the
boilerplate for GPL
