Thanks once again for taking the time to report this bug and helping to
make Ubuntu better. Is this still an issue using an up2date version,
maybe on a newer Ubuntu release? If yes, can you please try to reproduce
this using a new profile:
1. Close Thunderbird
2. $ mv ~/.mozilla-thunderbird ~/.mozilla-thunderbird-old
3. Startup Thunderbird
4. Add the account again and reproduce
