I was going through the files and correct MP3 ID information on them. This may have caused some of the confusion to the software.
If I do move the files around (directories and what not) and then reload rhythmbox fresh it loses the changes (marks them as missing files). So I run the Import Folder tool against the same directory and it re-discovers the files in their new places. I noticed the behavior when I have some CD Sets ripped by Disk number. Example: Artist/ Artist/Album Artist/Album/Disk1 Artist/Album/Disk1/Track1 Artist/Album/Disk2 Artist/Album/Disk2/Track1 This may cause the tracklist display for that Artist to show Disk1/Track1 and Disk2/Track1 twice and because they're both from the same Album. (Disk1 and Disk2 folder level is empty of files). It seems to be related to having an empty folder in between the Album level folder and the actual Track files. Thanks.
