Hi,

sorry, but I don't fully understand this yet:
the current btrfs-tools creates a backward compatible FS, however the new one
wouldn't be backwards compatible. So if I'd be using jaunty or intrepid right
now, and have a btrfs module built on my own, then I couldn't use this with the
new btrfs any longer and might have trouble performing the upgrade?
Also, with jaunty's kernel, I couldn't make use of the new btrfs, since I
couldn't built it right now (i.e. until it's backported)?

Did I understand that correctly so far/what am I missing?

Thanks,
     Stefan.
