However, it seems that you are not using a software package provided by the official Ubuntu repositories. Because of this the Ubuntu project can not support or fix your particular bug. You may try it in a VirtualBox so as not to upset your system. Ubuntu Hardware Support lists your printer as working under Intrepid 8.10. Because this driver is not part of Ubuntu, I must mark this bug report as invalid.
