KDE3 is gone from the CD, and therefore Amarok 1 has gone with it. As well, the mp3 issue requires that you install kubuntu-restricted- extras (iirc for ffmpeg) as mp3 support is not installed by default. Amarok 2 does support mp3, after you install the required support plugins/apps. (This is a patent issue and has always been the case even with Amarok 1).
