It isn't that I can't play mp3s it is that when I scan my collection random songs do not show up in it.
For example if I search for Nine Inch nails. Several CDs show up and others are just not there despite being in the same directory as the other imported NiN CDs and being the same format. Perhaps I should file a bug upstream.
