Well doing that should resolve the problem as a workaround. It really is
a bug though and long term they should not be directly polling the key
state since it can mean different things other than caps lock. I have
already sent the bug to the OOo developers which was why I marked this
bug as a duplicate of the other bug relating to this issue.
