Yes, it's related to that, but large logfiles shouldn't affect gnome-
system-log like the way it is now affecting.
Nullified logs via "echo "" |sudo tee
/var/log/{user.log,user.log.0,syslog,syslog.0}"
And it is working without a glitch.
