Hi, thanks for the quick response. Here is the information: Model/make: Dell Bluetooth keyboard/mouse with Bluetooth adaptor. Despite the Bluetooth connection, it operates in a USB keyboard/mouse emulation mode as far as I know.
I have to unplug it and plug it back in to log into the computer, which is annoying but after that the mouse was usable until a little while ago in Jaunty (and before that in 8.10 and 8.04).
