I cannot reproduce this issue on Jaunty after testing on two different
jaunty systems. $PATH does not contain /usr/bin/X11, and the steps
provided in the description do not generate the incorrect path:
br...@chideok:~/src/xorg/xorg-ubuntu-git$ type soffice
soffice is /usr/bin/soffice
r...@dorset:/etc/X11# type soffice
soffice is /usr/bin/soffice
If you can reproduce on Jaunty, please indicate what specifically is
causing /usr/bin/X11 to be added to your path.
If it can only be reproduced on Hardy, feel free to nominate this for
Hardy, however again we would need to know more specifically where that
is coming in.
