Hi Chris, I have tried the live CD of Jaunty 9.04. Unfortunately there are two problems. The first I have come across before with live cds in that the system does not allow me to open a file on the hard disc because I do not have permission. This applies even though I have created a new user with the same details in Jaunty. The second problem is that the default install of the Jaunty live CD does not include OpenOffice base. I tried to install it but the installation failed with messages about libraries not being available. Please note that my installed OS is not Jaunty but Hardy with all upgrades up to date. Please let me know if there is anything else with which I can be of help.
