Please note that OOo2 *embeds* fonts in the output PDF, which IMHO is the right thing to do and yet it can be turned off in the advanced export settings dialog (File->Export... and select PDF as output, start customizing from there).
I'd consider this bug report invalid. OTOH, here is a real bug: the inability of OOo2's PDF creation engine to subset embedded Type 1/CFF (as seen in OpenType containers) PostScript fonts.
