Which is why I don't think OOo should even try to access the files in
the 'open existing files' list when you open the dialog other than to
list them because there is no way it can no if they would cause a
problem - unless it either did it in another thread and hence didn't
hang the UI or only accessed them when you explicitly told it to open it
(in which case it seems fair enough for it to hang).
