This may or may not land, my earlier post on bug #187313explains that. I
will ask someone i know upstream and find out.
Confirmed this will not land in 3.0.x at all and as for our inclusion in
3.0.x will not happen. Building PPA's with the patch might not work out
all that great as it can and most likely will cause more bugs that its worth
