Thank you Chris, highlighting the entire cell works like a charm. And
highlighting the number in the cell just copies that number. Sweet!
Sorry for me being so stupid but it's really not trivial to highlight
rightmost cell in the row when moving mouse from left to the right. And
the reason for the original bug report is, that highlighting the number
actually did copy the entire cell content in some cases (when function
name was present for instance). This is now fixed so I would like to
thank you once again and to close this bug report. Come to think of it,
the OpenOffice manual should reflect this nuance in copying cell content
in OOwriter to prevent other people from stumbling on the same spot.
